- Check the exact address on your phone's map, not just the neighbourhood: Lambaré and Asunción run into each other, and the real distance to where you need to be can vary a lot.
- Ask who hands over the key, at what time, and whom to call at night if something breaks.
- Confirm air conditioning in the bedroom and whether parking is enclosed and on site.
Which area suits you?
- Yacht and riverside: for rest, with pool and river. The Costanera Sur, opened in July 2024, runs 8.1 km from Cerro Lambaré to Avenida Colón in Asunción (Última Hora (opens in a new tab)), bypassing Avenida Félix Bogado (ABC Color (opens in a new tab)).

What slows down getting around?
- Heavy rain: in 2023 the municipality published a list of Cacique Lambaré crossings to avoid during flash floods (ABC Color (opens in a new tab)). If it is pouring, ask your host which way out is safe.
- Rush hour towards Villa Elisa: Avenida Defensores del Chaco gets so congested that both municipalities asked the public works ministry to widen it (Última Hora (opens in a new tab)). Leave extra time for meetings to the south.
