Limpio has no bar district like Asunción: a night out here means a neighbourhood bar or lomitería, the Plaza Norte mall on Route PY03, or heading to the towns next door. For something livelier, Mariano Roque Alonso, Luque and central Asunción are close, and since December 2025 a night bus, the Búho B2, brings you back from Asunción.

Where to go out without leaving Limpio

Plaza Norte (Route PY03, opposite Abasto Norte). Limpio's first big mall opened on 19 July 2025 with about 30 units; early brands included Pizza Hut, Don Vito, Café Martínez, La Clementina and the Sky Games arcade (ABC Color (opens in a new tab)). It has parking for 320 cars and 30 motorbikes (ABC Color (opens in a new tab)). In July 2026 it showed the 19 July football final on a giant screen in the food area and announced live music for Friendship Day (InfoNegocios (opens in a new tab)). It is the easiest option for dinner with friends or a relaxed start to the night.

  • Tip: check its social media for that weekend's events; big matches fill the food area.

Neighbourhood bars and lomiterías. In the Centro and barrios such as Piquete Cue, Salado or San Marcos, nights out mean a sandwich bar, pizzeria or small bar. Message ahead to check they are open that day and when the kitchen stops taking orders; map hours are often out of date.

Town festivals. The feast of San José, Limpio's patron saint, and the Karanda'y Renda festival are the busiest nights at Plaza Silvestre Aveiro, where local events are held (Wikipedia (opens in a new tab)).

What is next door in Mariano Roque Alonso?

Mariano Roque Alonso borders Limpio (Wikipedia (opens in a new tab)), so following PY03 gives you more choice:

If you head into Asunción

Limpio is about 19 km from Asunción along PY03 (Wikipedia (opens in a new tab)). Two classics that are easy to reach:

Getting back to Limpio at night

  • Búho B2: started on 10 December 2025 and links Asunción with Limpio. It leaves from Cristóbal Colón and runs via Oliva, Cerro Corá, Brasil, General Artigas, PY03, Mariscal Estigarribia and Avenida San José (La Nación (opens in a new tab)). The Búho network runs 22:00-03:30 (Última Hora, January 2026 (opens in a new tab)).
  • Driving: the drink-drive limit is zero, and from 0.400 mg/l it is a criminal offence referred to prosecutors (ABC Color (opens in a new tab)). If you drink, let someone else drive or take the bus or an app ride.
  • Before you go out: agree who you are going home with and keep the number of someone who can pick you up.

This week's plan: dinner or a match at Plaza Norte, and if you want more, a Friday in Asunción with the Búho B2 home.
